Together with winemaker Julien Fayard, Rebrook has curated a selection of extraordinary vineyard sites – from Napa Valley’s iconic Pritchard Hill to the spectacular coastal Fort Ross Vineyard. The resulting wines are powerful yet elegant, complex yet graceful.
The 2021 Rebrook Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the exceptional concentration and ripeness of the vintage, acclaimed for its small yields of intensely flavored fruit. Dark magenta in the glass, this wine offers an abundance of sun-kissed fruit, classic Cabernet Sauvignon aromatics, and slipper-soft textures. Deep, compelling aromas of blackcurrant, cedar, bay leaf and gravel swirl on the nose. In the mouth, a surge of luscious boysenberry and crème de cassis gains momentum with supporting notes of vanilla, mocha, and blackberry pie. Ripe, sinuous tannins slip effortlessly into the lingering finish of dried thyme, mocha and sweet spice.
The 2021 Rebrook Pinot Noir was sourced from the mist-shrouded Fort Ross-Seaview AVA, where the Pacific Ocean’s modulating influence enables a long, patient journey to ripeness. Brilliant garnet in the glass, this Pinot Noir delivers both nuance and intensity. Aromas of brambly black fruit and dark brown sugar mingle with subtle notes of damp earth and graphite minerality. The full, round palate brims with ripe black cherries, berries and golden caramel, lifted by the freshness of pomegranate molasses and perfectly balanced acidity. Delicate clove-spiked tannins bring graceful structure and length, culminating in a floral finish with fragrant baking spice.
